Designed a series of promotional posters for the 1991 Mount Pleasant uprisings, sparked by the police shooting of Daniel Gomez, a young man from El Salvador. La Manplesa poster shows the iconic image when people took to the streets to protest the police shooting. The film examines and hopes to show the roots of police brutality and discrimination in the latino community and the years of neglect.
